The Awkward Age
The Awkward Age: Easyread Large Edition | Henry James
2 posts
A mesmerizing novel of American society girl who appears from the gauche age to maturity. James has portrayed the corruption and debauchery of that society. The ambiguities of characters are presented in persuasive manner. A gripping novel with various surprising twists.

And my charity shop book haul! Lord of The Flies in a different cover and a new copy of The Pilots Wife.... @ScorpioBookDreams the Maggie Stiefvater are brand new, am I missing one? Are these part of a trilogy? X

ScorpioBookDreams These are the only two of her books I haven't read but I think they're just a duology called Books of Faerie xx 8y
LeahBergen Ooo! What a nice edition of that Henry James novel! 👍🏼 8y
DeborahSmall @LeahBergen I have a couple of these editions now. Finding them in charity shops x 😘 8y
DeborahSmall @ScorpioBookDreams thanks, I have another 3 that are a trilogy, one of them called 'shiver' should I read the raven boys first as that's what most people are talking about?? 8y
ScorpioBookDreams @DeborahSmall the shiver ones are about werewolves and are a bit more like Twilight in style. Each series stands alone so it doesn't matter which order you read them in. Raven Cycle was my favourite though xx 8y
