Somewhere Over The Rainbow
Somewhere Over The Rainbow: My Story | Patricia Foster
5 posts
My Story, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, is a human and personal story. Patricia's Memoir covers much of her life, and of the Twentieth Century, including the Post War Years, seen from a young person's perspective. This account of her early life is vivid, it will make you laugh, and it will make you cry. The style is conversational, and is all the more credible for it's lack of exaggeration. This is a straightforward story, well told. It tells of amazing Divine Interventions, of Spiritual Guides, Helpers and Guardian Angels, who have accompanied Patricia through every step of her journey. This book will give hope and comfort to the bereaved, the sick and the lonely. Patricia sadly lost her beloved Husband Ken in October 2009, after a very happy marriage lasting 54 years. This book is almost a poem to Ken. But he has never left her, for there isn no death, as her story will prove. This is a moving memorial to a fine man in Ken, a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother. Gratitude is the heart's memory, and my heart remembers.

Although I wasn't specifically tagged by anyone and didn't choose a specific color, I thought I'd do my own version of the #iSpy challenge and give y'all a rainbow! ?

These are all books currently on my #TBR *and* that I own. I started reading "Dear Edward" around the time of the helicopter accident that claimed the lives of Kobe Bryant and 8 other passengers... so given the premise, I took a pause and chose to read other titles.

Chrissyreadit It‘s so pretty! 5y

My July reading stats are pretty low but I've been on the road since the 4th. Very little reading but lots of good family time (and a healthy amount of book shopping.) We head back to Colorado (and real life) tomorrow. This is a pic from my parents' deck. What a 🌈! Cue Kermit! 🎶

Crazeedi Beautiful!!💗🥂 5y
Centique “Cue Kermit” made me laugh. That Kermit song gets in my head so often it‘s hard to believe. I obviously imprinted on the muppets at a young age! We taught our kids the Ma Na Ma Na song recently - still a hit with 8 year old boys 😂😂 5y
merelybookish @Centique Yes we love the Muppets in our house too! Today the Talking Heads "Once in a Lifetime" came on and my son told me Kermit did a cover of it! So now I have to hear that!! ? 5y
