If you're weird like me and can't get enough cult/fringe religion reading, you'll appreciate this book as much as I did. If you're Australian you might recognise the author as ABC journalist Steve Cannane. His book on Scientology in Australia is incredibly readable, frightening and fascinating. A lot of it I knew from other reading but some was astounding new information, like the connection with Chelmsford deep sleep therapy scandal.

A short read while I wait for dinner to finish baking. (I know I said I was taking a break from this book, but, you know..... books).

You know a books getting into your head when it literally gets into your head. Last night I dreamt I was being recruited (along with Jamie Oliver?!) into Scientology. Perhaps I should take a break from it today?

Sunday afternoon reading, time for a new book and to indulge my fascination with fringe religion. My friends think I'm weird!

I went to the library to pick up the above book, another one on Scientology (I'm fascinated by fringe religious groups and cults) and somehow came home with three others despite the fact I have three unread library books still at home. #blameitonlitsy #bookhaul #nowillpower #librariesaredangerous

I'm currently reading these two books. I don't usually read two at once but the Oliver Sacks book is a complete story in each chapter easy to go from one book to the other. Thank you @MrsMalaprop for the loan of Fair Game. Very interesting. Can't begin to tell you the number of times I used to be asked to fill in a questionnaire while shopping in the city. So pleased " they" have been stopped.

This was a great insight into the extensive Australian connections to Scientology. As someone who has read heaps about the organisation, it was refreshing to discover quite a bit of information I had not known.
