Waking the Bear
Waking the Bear | Kerry Adrienne
1 post | 1 read
Sexy shifter passion is awakened when two unlikely lovers are challenged by secrets, danger and an unstoppable need to claim one's mate… For human Amy Francis, the secluded cabin in Deep Creek is the haven she needs to map out a fresh new start. She never expected her heart to be reawakened by a distraction like Griff Martin, commanding yet gentle, too ferociously sensual to ignore. It's clear that patrolling the forest is more than a job to Griff—it's a means of survival. But what Amy doesn't realize is she's reawakened the beast within him. Griff's dormant hunger is stirred by this intoxicating woman…and threatened by the secret she must never learn. Duty-bound to defend his bear clan against an avenging pride of lion shifters, Griff's entire world is upended when he meets Amy. His animal need to claim his mate has taken hold, but that very desire could seal her fate as an unwitting pawn in battle. Now, as a shifter war looms, Griff must decide between letting Amy go or following his most carnal instincts. To have her would change his life…but risk everything he knows and was born to protect. Not outSIDE, per se, but I had to go outside to get to the laundromat on this icky rainy/snowy day. The only thing making it survivable is being able to read while I wait. #riotgrams

Chachic Sucks that you have to go outside to do laundry! My flat has its own washing machine but most machines here only have spin dry so we have to hang clothes up to dry (I believe they do the same in Europe). #laundrywoes 8y
MeganB @Chachic yea, when I move (in like 7+ years) the number 1 requirement is a washer/dryer IN the building at least though ideally in the apartment itself. And I actually end up hanging about half my clothes to dry anyway because they're made of stuff that isn't supposed to go in a dryer. Somehow I have managed to get the worst of both worlds 😂 8y
Chachic Yeah, the dryer can destroy some clothes, right? Maybe half my clothes won't be able to go into a dryer anyway. Although some of the clothes I have are supposed to be hand washed but I put them in a laundry bag and still throw them into the machine.😂 8y

MeganB @Chachic yea, mostly sweaters get all stretched out or shrunk and stuff. But I do the same thing with hand wash stuff! Or it says dry clean only and I hand wash it because I'm NOT paying for dry cleaning, that stuff is wayyyy too expensive for anything that's not like a formal gown or something. So dry clean stuff gets hand spot cleaned to get rid of any marks or whatever 😂 8y
Chachic Ahh glad I don't really have sweaters, only knit cardigans. It's eternally summer in Singapore, it only gets cold in the office because of the aircon. Haha I also don't buy clothes that need to be ironed. 8y
MeganB @Chachic that's so smart! I order things online that end up needing ironing and it's always terrible because I'm very lazy when it comes to laundry and I'm at least self aware enough to know it. If I could ever pick a super power, it would be Mary Poppins's snap and cleaning power! 8y
