We had a great lunch at New Moon Cafe, across the hall from The Book Tavern.
I saw avocado toast on the menu and immediately thought of @DebinHawaii
It was delicious with sesame seeds and sriracha 🍽
Today we are imagining and depicting the unseen fourth wall from Van Gogh's bedroom in the yellow house. Or I should say, "Monsieur Vincent's" bedroom, as the Arles locals would have called him, right @Libby1 ?
Our spring poem for today referenced a lark, so we'll go off on a musical tangent, too. Formal lessons can wait, right?
This was my daughter's book and I decided to read before I donated it. It charmed me so that I not only kept it, but also bought a copy for my sister. The cafe was once a theater. It is magical, wonderful, like a painting, like a mystery, like a dream. It is a short book. Each chapter describes a separate incident at the cafe. I keep it by my bed to read for comfort. More coffee than food but #foodiefiction
