I really enjoyed this book, despite the fact that some parts of it were a little predictable. There were multiple twists and I didn‘t see all of them coming. I look forward to checking out more books by this author.

Another solid book in the Murphy & Rossi series. Not as good as the previous three in my opinion but still really enjoyed it. Hope another one is coming soon 😊

Some criminals are probably easier to deal with 😂 Well deserved holidays!
Yay! Book number 4 in the Murphy & Rossi series has arrived (love abit of Ebay)
Definitely saving this one for Croatia ☀️✈🍹🏖
Another great read in this scouse detective drama series 👍🏻
Sneaking a bit of a read in before breakfast and a full day of meetings in Amsterdam. We are in a hotel near the airport and no time for sight seeing!! Flying back tonight.
I wish I had spaced these out more. What will I read now??? Oh that‘s right, 1 of the 37 other series inhabiting my Kindle. 😜 I hope this isn‘t the last we see of Murphy and Rossi or in my casting agent‘s brain, Idris Elba and Suranne Jones. ☺️
Fourth in the murphy/Rossi series and a rattling good page turner it turned out to be. Veste tends to take themes current in the news and use them, here a group of affluent young men who find themselves in lpool uni rather than oxbridge create a Bullingham style club, some yrs later they become a target. Felt I'd seen some ideas b4 but enjoyable crime writing.
A good police procedural. I especially liked the camaraderie between the lead detectives Murphy and Rossi, and the gritty Liverpool setting, which felt authentic. The story lacked tension for me, partly because I didn't want to save the victims, & there weren't enough clear suspects to keep me guessing (this turned though). A little dark with the anger & revenge themes, but also touches on interesting issues like misogyny and elitism.
Turning to crime on this sunny morning! Enjoying the contemporary Liverpool setting of this one.
