#59 of my year. In the mood for a dark fantasy comic and I‘ve heard great things about this one! The under the dust jacket is so beautifully done with creepy twisted trees and on the front outside cover is like an image of pied piper I think. It‘s all very cool and already sets up the fables as intriguing. Gonna read a few before bed!

Caffeinated_Reader This was so wonderful! Such a charming take on the fairytales. The art work was stunning, gave the story more of a hold for me. It was definitely a fun read. 5y

As a fan of the Fables graphic novel series, I happily found this book in my library. Loved this book from beginning to end. Happy to have illustrations throughout to go with the story. Basically it's the story of Peter and Max Piper. Good and bad brothers and what led them to be good/bad. Loved the backstory of how it came to be and of course in the present with Peter trying to find Max. Excellent ending.
