pickKlosterman is one of my favorite writers, and this collection reminds me of why that is so. However, the random Q&A sections throughout the book with an unnamed person was a confusing waste of time that should not have been included. Readers should also be aware of the fact that if you're reading this on your phone, it ends only 77% of the way through, which was unexpected and disappointing. Great book though!

This is a quote from former Ohio Srate football coach Woody Hayes. From now on, every time I see a bus boy, I'm going to wonder if he's a gracious loser. I won't ask though, because I don't want him to spit in my food.
"It doesn't matter what you can do if you don't know why you're doing it." This is an interesting idea that Klosterman explores while pondering time travel, and it's a point that people never seem to think about.
Just because two things happen at the same time doesn't mean they're connected. Babe Ruth's first home run and the premiere of Birth of a Nation both happened in 1915, but that doesn't dictate a relationship.
