Emmy checking out my book.
My brain is spinning.Yesterday started a 3 day training in the Wilson Reading Program.
Haha on me. Just saw I read this two years ago & gave it a so-so rating due to lack of new knowledge for me. Started it this morning not realizing I had read it. What‘s to say it won‘t be a better read for me now? Or should I find another book from our provided reading list?! 🤪

Pickpick

A good scientific book about reading. There is a lot of data listed and studies cited. The science of the brain and eyes is thoroughly covered. Social and socioeconomic issues are also addressed. And it made me feel better about pushing phonics so much with my kindergartener. Not light reading but good if you have an interest in the topic. 4⭐️

Mehso-so

Was disappointed in this read. I really did not discover anything revolutionary, new, or that I had not heard of already. Maybe it is because I am an educator. So it might be a book for those outside the education field, or new teachers. Wish I had not pre-ordered & spent the $!
