Well that was some male gazey nonsense

Really enjoyed this. Great modern beginning for Wonder Woman. I‘d say it‘s a bit mature so don‘t let your kids read it lol. But it‘s an excellent read.
And here I thought cat woman was the only one into bondage. I guess bat man has a type. 😂😂
This is one of the only superhero comics I‘ve read (for @bookriot #ReadHarder of course) so I don‘t feel qualified to evaluate it in a meaningful way. This one tells the Wonder Woman origin story and how she left Paradise Island for the world of man (not a choice I would have made TBH- that place looked GREAT). I did love the artwork! I liked how this frame shows a woman enjoying completely her own strength and power.
Starting off #litsypartyofone with some Wonder Woman. I see it has mixed reviews here, but it will have to do until others are in at the library.
Here's what my kitchen table looks like at the moment. I've just grilled some hamachi kama or yellowtail cheek in the oven and we'll eat it with some Brussels sprouts and Japanese rice. #bookanddinner
My girl Wonder Woman always kicks ass and I've been looking forward to this for a LONG time. #superheroes #wonderwoman
2.5 stars. I wanted to read this because I loved Wonder Woman when I was a kid. So naturally, I expected to love this and I didn't. The characters are just cardboard cutouts. The action isn't especially exciting. Guess I'll find another way to get my WW fix. #readharder
Wasn't able to join my local #womensmarch today so I'm switching over to reading Wonder Woman for some fictional solidarity as I jump back into my #24in48
This is easily the most interesting version of Wonder Woman yet and it's a bummer it's not the official one
If you want an introduction to Wonder Woman, this is your book!!
In its attempt to provide a strong feminist message, it achieves quite the opposite. Very awkward storytelling from Morrison. Paquette's art saves this disappointment at times.
I am so excited about this, the art is amazing and WW looks strong and fierce and blooming gorgeous.
This book returns to wonder woman's roots and I loved it. The chain and bondage theme is very much a part of her original story lines, and I love the return of Candy even if she's irritating so far. The art is wonderful. A great blend of the classic stories to create something new
So excited to read this book, I always enjoyed this character, and I'm looking forward to seeing how much the authors pulled from my favorite comic runs
Smart and odd. Not everything about it works - Paquette's 'good girl' art gets in the way of the book's message at times - but a funny, kinky, character-driven Wonder Woman comic like this is nevertheless a true rarity.
This was thematically incredible and brave. I hope there is more to come soon. The story feels like it's only the beginning of something great
I finally picked up this book and I'm loving it. Morrison's version is simultaneously very different and incredibly true to the character's history
Paquette's colors are great and the art is really interesting but the story is...not good. Wait for Rucka's WW instead of picking this up.
