The main character, Natalie, is one of my favorite bisexual characters I‘ve ever read about.

After a string of not-great relationships, Natalie decides to take a break from sex to figure herself out. She thinks back over all of her sexual adventures, as well as her struggles with body positivity.

This book felt like a slumber party with my best friends, dishing about exploits and sharing secrets and hopes.

The downside- douchy exes.

Natalie is 31, bisexual, and overweight. She loves sex, is usually happy with her body, but just hasn‘t figured out relationships yet (or found someone who isn‘t shallow about her size). So she tries out celibacy while looking back on her experiences. This is a fun, body-positive, sex-positive queerlit novel. I found Natalie really relatable and likeable.

I loved a lot about this book. The representation of #bisexuality felt very authentic, as did the fat and sex positiveness. I never totally got Natalie, but she also felt like an IRL friend? The plot is Natalie decides that since she's been chasing sexual relationships for so long she needs to take a break. The narrative alternates between past and present but there's no payoff when the timelines meet up. I was expecting a more chick lit plot.

I've wanted to read this #bisexual #chicklit book for years! The other day at my new library job while looking quickly for something to put on display, I just saw it on the shelf and figured it was destiny! So far it is just the kind of bi affirming, fat positive #romcom I thought it would be! Also, very funny and sexy! #BisexualBooks #QueerBooks

This book is so great in so many ways, and so thoughtfully contemporary (which may or may not be a description that make sense, I can't word too good.) I hope we start to see more novels using this level of consideration given to its characters and story. And more Erin Judge!
