pickBorrow this from a library if you can, skim it for what applies and ignore the rest. I liked the authors‘ attitude but recognize that some things won‘t work everywhere. For example, in a lot of places in America, you just can‘t reliably get to work without a car. I‘m lucky to use the bus but it‘s not possible in so many places! I appreciated other ideas though and am glad I borrowed this.

bailedI was so hoping I would enjoy this, but we are a neurodivergent family and I couldn‘t even get past the forward. Which is ok. This book will be beneficial for others, but I find it hard to continue a book once rubbed the wrong way.
pickThis was a fun read, with advise and reflections not just on how to live a more simple and happier life, but also on why. The authors are funny and frankly quite convincing (even if I doubt I‘d dumpster dive or make a roadkill stew), there are a some tips that seem a bit too radical, but most are doable. I got this book from the library, but I think I‘ll buy it too for the times when I need a better living pep talk.
pickI LOVED this read! The authors have a lighthearted and funny approach to living life more simply. Some of the ideas might be a bit much for most but the majority of the book has more practical ideas for the beginner. I loved how they educated while entertaining and educating! Great book to read if you‘re looking to save money, live more simply, and more meaningfully.
pickThis was an interesting read. Not really what I expected - I was thinking there would be more tips and out of the ordinary ideas, but it was not the case. That said, it is a great introduction to frugalism, and I appreciate that they understand that people have passions they are willing to spend more on if they cut down in other areas.
The authors claim to live on AU$105 a week (including bills but not rent/mortgage) each (apparently the national average is about AU$440 per person) - I'm hoping to learn some things!
