Plot twist: my dad‘s got Omicron symptoms, so the last Christmassy thing that wasn‘t already cancelled just got cancelled. Also, I‘ve gotta lay low for a bit because he‘s my close contact and the testing sites are so clogged up they‘re asking anybody under 40 to just not come unless it‘s serious.
So here I am, drinking a Micro Burst Hazy IPA from Banded Creek Brewing in the middle of the day while I read another volume of BONE. 🤷♀️

pickMuch better than the last book! This one kept the focus where it needed to be, on Fone Bone, Grandma, and Thorn. It does take two detours to follow Phoney and, as before, those are the most boring sections. He's just such an unlikable character, I really hope there's some kind of character development coming soon. But the drama and the story of this volume were amazing and I can't wait to read the next one.
