Third in the Mobile Library Mystery series. This one was a bit slower than the last two, I thought, but I'm glad of the way it ended. I've been waiting for a particular thing, and it finally happened. Let's see how Israel goes forward from here. #29-2024

Laura317 Scundered. Not sure where she learned it from, but she used it almost as tuckered out. As in "I am completely scundered." I don't think her version means the same as the way you used it. I had to look it up. 8y

The Guardian calls this book "a perfect antidote for melancholy." After reading The Devil in the Marshalsea and looking at all the spooky reads being posted recently I'm ready for some lighthearted fun!

JanuarieTimewalker13 @Libby1 Thank you!! I just read the synopsis on amzn and he's a vegetarian, so Inguess it's fitting..I ordered it whilst eating my broccoli from a bookstore in Durham City!! Yay!! My library did not have this!! *Please note I'm an American trying to integrate the word whilst into our lexicon...and my next goal is: cuppa!!! 🙂 8y
