Yesterday was the Mondayist of Mondays & full of meetings, then I crashed early so, I‘m catching up in yesterday‘s #Lantern prompt.

These books of short spooky stories go with a paranormal series I used to read (The Mary O‘Reilly series). I have only read the first two, but it looks like there are around 10 now on Kindle Unlimited, so I may need to go back & do some reading this spooky season for some #HauntedShelf points.🎃👻🎃

Late to the #AllHallowsRead #notscaryhalloweenbooks party today I am afraid but didn't want to miss out entirely. The last few years the author of an e-book paranormal cozy-ish mystery series I read (The Mary O'Reilly series) has put out Halloween short story books based on the O'Reilly family's tradition of telling ghost stories around a lit pumpkin. Like the series, they aren't particularly scary, but good for a short Halloween escape. 🎃
