Stephanie's Ponytail
Stephanie's Ponytail: Read-Aloud Edition | Robert Munsch
6 posts | 9 read | 3 to read
None of the kids in her class wear a ponytail, so Stephanie decides she must have one. The loud, unanimous comment from her classmates is: Ugly, ugly, very ugly. Steadfast, when all the girls have copied her ponytail, she resolves to try a new style. With true Munsch flair, each of Stephanies ponytails is more outrageous than the last, while the cast of copycats grows and grows. This fixed-layout ebook, which preserves the design and layout of the original print book, features read-along narration by the author as well as music and sound effects.

Robert Munsch‘s books had strong, opinionated young women in a time where there were nowhere near as many choices available where that could be said. Stephanie is not perfect, but she is sure of herself and unique and a lot of fun to read about.

Jinjer What a great title!!! 7y

#riotgrams #Characterwhosharesmyname When I was a kid I LOVED this book specifically because my name is in the title! I made my parents read it to me over and over. Robert Munsch is classic.

AWahle My kids loved this book! My daughter is 18 and can still quote it. 8y
