pickIt's queer, it's bold, it's Riley.
This is a great graphic novel. I can't recommend adding this to your LBGTQ+ collection quickly enough. The characters, though not perfect, are strong and generally have believable motivations. Furthermore, the art is just gorgeous.

pickThis was every bit the delight I expected when I read about it in THE SPECTACULAR HISTORY OF SUPERWOMEN. Bold Riley is a secondary world folk hero who aids gods, vanquishes demons, and rescues ladies in distress, some of whom are eager to show their appreciation (winkwinknudgenudge). Each story is short enough to whip through in no time but deep enough to get the reader thinking about classic heroism and narrative structures. Great stuff.
