Wonderful.
Simply brilliant.
Simple in places, very academia driven in others - I actually looked up some of the art and religious refs.
Put me in mind of Kent Haruf.
Thrilled to discover it's one of a trilogy! 🤗🤩😍☺☺☺

Oh, this is wonderfully written. Really trying not to read it too quickly, making it last.

Love Ann Tyler and this is apparently similar to her style...

The lazy (wo)man‘s #bookspin “list” for March has arrived on the scene in the form of a picture of another one of my shelves. I‘ve increased the randomness factor by also choosing the *shelf* at random. 😆 Left to right, 1-20. There‘s still time to join the fun and whittle down your TBR. Check out @TheAromaofBooks for details!

TheAromaofBooks Love it! I do a LOT of my reading with random number generators... sometimes it feels like the only way to wade through the hundreds of options on my list! 5y
LeafingThroughLife @TheAromaofBooks Same here! The time it saves me in indecision is probably enough to make it worthwhile but I kind of love the surprise of not quite knowing what‘s coming next. 😀 5y
TheAromaofBooks I feel the same way!! Every once in a while I go on a “I am only in the mood for X“ kick, but for the most part I'm up for almost any books on my list/shelf, and no more struggling with trying to decide what I'm in the mood to read haha 5y
