Day Three:
You Shall Know Our Velocity by Dave Eggers. It sounded so promising with an important message but turned out to be guys just traveling the world giving away money. It really wasn't that interesting. I was pretty disappointed.

Been at a car enthusiast festival today watching classic cars and all sorts of race cars do a hill run - very appropriate for today‘s prompt!
I loved Dave Eggers first book but this one not so much. His writing is excellent but I didn‘t engage with this plot. Still the title fits perfectly I reckon 🤘
I have a few books with #decklededges, some old(ish), some new.
This is the only one that's signed. The book has a unique design. The front cover is page one. So Eggers signed the back cover.

Thought maybe I'd start posting pics of some of the signed books in my collection. The signed one is a sort of director's cut of YSKOV (which is below). I also have a signed copy of Egger's What Is the What.
This book is the"alternate title" (what a Dave Eggers thing to do!) to his book You Shall Know Our Velocity. I became an insta-fan of Eggers after reading A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius back in the early 00's. When I came across this book behind the glass at a local HPB, I decided I must have it. So now I do. ? #signed #day27 #readjanuary
