@LoveToReadLiveToRead @Moray_Reads @Lel2403 @Cathythoughts I'm back home now so will be able to start our books for November tomorrow.
Ruth, I'm going to send The Blackhouse and The Unquiet Dead in one package - #whodunituk is taking priority.
Moray, Lesley & Cathy, what colours are you going to use to mark your books - I don't want to use the same one.
Two things that make me #smile - book hauls and chocolate! #SisforSeptember @CaliforniaCay
I enjoyed this whodunnit set in Oxford, although the mathematical theory in it did go over my head. It's always fun to read a book that is set where you live and I live in Oxford so recognised many of the places mentioned. I have no idea whether the mathematical theories mentioned in it are indeed true. It was a good read, drawing you in, I wasn't too keen on how the plot drew to a close though. I did guess the murderer! #booksinthewild
Revisiting this book for my syllabus for my weeklong class at Oxford University. I remember it being ok when I read it the first time so I chose to approach it from audiobook this time as a refresher. The narrator is really good!
I'll blame the sometimes stilted language on it being a translation but it also was just unsatisfying as a mystery.
