Holy Listening: The Art of Spiritual Direction | 
pickSuper overdue review for my June #DoubleSpin. I read this for a spiritual direction seminar, and found a lot of it really helpful as far as the practicalities of spiritual direction—both in practicing spiritual direction with others, as well as honestly confronting your own internal habits and avoidances. A lot of it is really dated, especially when it comes to gender, but I will definitely return to it for the wisdom it offers in many other ways.
