pickMy sister Marilyn read this mystery first and recommended it because it features Chinese porcelain at the center of the crime. It was a fun read. While much of the descriptions of export porcelain were right on track, would have loved to had even more. Author‘s writing of Chinese-American POV seemed rich, but would be interested to hear from others‘ perspective. Museum directors and art collectors were a bit one- dimensional.
SJ Rozen's Lydia Chin/Bill Smith series is one of my all time favorite mystery series. She alternates POV each book from Lydia to Bill and back again. Great summer paperback pick-up!

#FunPhotoFriday A Mystery that I Loved. Truly, I could post all day. I ❤️ mysteries. One of my favorite recent series is the Lydia Chin/Bill Smith series by SJ Rosen. The cool thing about these mysteries is that the POV alternates between the two main characters/investigators with each book. Lydia is first in China Trade, then Bill is front and center in The second book, Concourse, and so on. Their beat is NYC, which I also love. 🕵🏻♀️🕵🏼
