After watching A.G. Barr today, I have serious questions about ever seeing #Justice for this a-hole.

Justice has to be one of ST:TNG silliest episodes, one of the worst of any Star Trek series. I can kind of forgive them, season one they were struggling to find their footing. Also, I'd forgotten how young Riker looks without the beard. It's just so wrong.

Megabooks Agree about AG Barr! And, according to something I read once, Frakes grew the beard during the writers‘ strike in season 2, and Roddenberry let him keep it because it looked “nautical” 🤷🏻‍♀️🤔 6y
RamsFan1963 @Megabooks I think it definitely added a level of seriousness and maturity Riker lacked in season 1 6y
Megabooks @RamsFan1963 Yes, agree. I looked back through the prompts I had chosen, and I‘ve got to say, some of the best titles are of the worst episodes! 😂😂 But I‘ve never been one of those fans who only watches Yesterday‘s Enterprise or Unification, sometimes you‘ve just got to watch Masks or Remember Me or Symbiosis. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Maybe I‘m a little strange. 6y

RamsFan1963 @Megabooks I think your ratio of good to bad episodes is fairly strong. Season 1 was rough, not a lot of gems there, season 2 things got perking and by season 3 it was as good as the best episodes of the original series. I liked Masks but I know I'm in the small minority lol. 6y
Megabooks @RamsFan1963 Thanks! Brent Spiner is a wonderful character actor, and I loved watching him inhabit so many characters in Masks, but I just couldn‘t get past the very weird premise. I also enjoy sitting in a theater (or at home) and finding Brent or Rene Auberjonis in a movie or TV show. Both have had such great character-actor parts! 6y
RamsFan1963 @Megabooks Remember Brent Spiner on Night Court? Oh My God!! He used to crack me up so hard playing the sad sack father of the family from Arkansas 6y
Megabooks @RamsFan1963 Lolololol! I loved him as the cruise ship director in that Jack Lemmon/Walter Matthau movie in the 90s. One of the ones they made after Grumpy Old Men. I used to have it on tape. So funny!! 6y
