This was funny & educational both. Very clever & a quick read. I loved it!

This philosophy-through-jokes book mostly fell flat for me. I found the explanations scattershot and generally too short to be useful, and most of the jokes weren‘t terribly funny.
That said, having just come off the #DeadPhilosophersSociety buddy read of #SophiesWorld, which is a much better philosophy course, definitely colored my opinion. Might be a good read for someone who‘s casually interested.
A dear friend of mine sent me these great gifts, it was worth waiting ;) I can't wait to try the chai, since I still have to find one that I really like 🤞As usual she chose very well: books, drinks, a notebook, a mug = a happy me!
If you want a witty, irreverent crash course through the world of philosophy, you can‘t do much better than “Plato and a Platypus Walk into a Bar.” The only philosophical examination that‘s better is, of course, Monty Python‘s “The Philosopher‘s Song.” It is legendary. It is brilliant. It is now stuck in your head.
This is why I'm scared to buy books from my favorite section of the bookstore...I've bought so many I might end up with 2! 😂😜😬💚📚
Christmas book # 3
I've wanted this one for so long! 😁
The optimist says, "The glass is half full."
The pessimist says, "The glass is half empty."
The rationalist says, "This glass is twice as big as it needs to be."
