In this gritty and innovative science-fiction thriller in the vein of Philip K. Dicks Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, turmoil on one of Saturns moons rattles Earths most powerful citizensand draws one planet-hopping rogue into a fight he never saw coming. Malcolm Graves lives by two rules: finish the job, and get paid. After thirty years as a collector, chasing bounties and extinguishing rebellions throughout the solar system, Malcolm does what hes told, takes what hes earned, and leaves the questions to someone elseespecially when it comes to the affairs of offworlders. But his latest mission doesnt afford him that luxury. After a high-profile bombing on Earth, the men who sign Malcolms paychecks are clamoring for answers. Before he can object, the corporation teams him up with a strange new partner whos more interested in statistics than instinct and ships them both off to Titan, the disputed moon where humans have been living for centuries. Their assignment is to hunt down a group of extremists: Titanborn dissidents who will go to any length to free their home from the tyranny of Earth. Heading into hostile territory, Malcolm will have to use everything hes learned to stay alive. But he soon realizes that the situation on the ground is much more complex than he anticipated . . . and much more personal. Praise for Titanborn "Sci-fi noir at its finest! I read the ARC I received from #NetGalley far too long ago to just now be reading it, but at least I finally got to it. I was skeptical that I would enjoy it, but I finished the book within a few days. Even though I saw the plot twist toward the end coming from a mile away, it wasn't a bad read overall. #SciFiSummer

🎧 Malcom Graves is an aging futuristic bounty hunter (collector) traveling through space collecting bounties for the Pervenio Corp with his 10 year old daughter in tow.

Graves is after a runaway & comes across a disturbing situation involving a mad scientist & androids.

This gritty Children of Titan prequel (The Collector) has me wanting to read the 1st book (tagged) that‘s been on my TBR for years.

AWESOME narration by RC Bray!

Good sci fi novel with an original concept. Solid writing but this is one of those books that I read a while back and don't really remember much of it. Good while reading but forgettable. Still worth picking up.
