We started this book/course/plan last night with our church LifeGroup. So far it makes some really valid points and made us really look at our money/spending. It‘s definitely a change in thinking process because the word ‘budget‘ just sounds bad, but this puts a positive spin on things. We‘ve made our ‘zero-based budget‘ & will be ready to start this process when our checks hit the bank tomorrow! Hopefully this helps us! Extra money would be nice!

DavidDiamond We‘ve been doing his plan for a couple years now. Takes patience. Also, try their EveryDollar app...makes the whole budgeting thing a lot easier to accomplish. Good luck! 5y
SassyBookworm @DavidDiamond thank you! We started on the app too! It really opened my eyes to things. It‘s gonna be stressful but I hope worth it! 5y

#Fortune just makes me think about the repeated video brainwashing by Dave Ramsey 😑😑 it's not like he didn't have great ideas, but they really beat a dead horse with how much they played the same videos over and over again. #LiteraryLuck @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @vkois88

vkois88 I know someone who swears up and down by his books, but they never interested me. I'm with you... I don't see how he can have so many books about the same thing. It's a bit ridiculous 6y
fandom_hellspawn99 Thank you! @vkois88 someone who actually agrees with me 6y

vkois88 Lol I also have issues with people making money off telling people who don't have money what to do with theirs... and charging extraordinary prices for those books. If you have financial issues, why purchase a pricey book about not having them 🤔🤔🤔 6y
fandom_hellspawn99 Or take trips to visit exclusive seminars on how to manage money wisely 😂😂 @vkois88 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks 6y
vkois88 YASSSSS 6y
Hestapleton Ugh, also his books suck for people who don‘t have money. Like, yes, Dave, I‘m not going to Starbucks because that $5 has to go somewhere else! It‘s not like I can cut that out so I can save more! 🙄🙄🙄 6y
NamasteReading 😭😭😭 these comments. 6y
jpmcwisemorgan My colleague at work has to listen to her sister-in-law about Dave Ramsey. He might have some good ideas but mostly I don‘t have the money to do anything. I guess I could cut out buying books??? 6y

My family is terrible with money! I finally feel like I have some answers to money questions I‘ve had forever! It‘s going to be a long road but one step at a time I think I‘ll make it!

This is the textbook of Financial Peace University and a must read for anyone looking to get their financial house in order. Dave is unapologetically Christian in his thinking, but the content can be applied to anyone‘s life. He is a heavyweight in the field of personal finance... disagree on the details if you must, but the framework is rock solid.
