Really good read! Great characters and an ending that is good if maybe not as tidy as you were hoping for - a happily ever after ending, but perhaps not the textbook happily ever after.
Since we‘re in an icy chilly embrace I‘ve pulled two wintry feeling books from the bookshelves! â„ï¸â˜ƒï¸â„ï¸
I found this an extremely engaging audiobook. I loved the characters and the storyline. Kachemak and Nadia are beautifully broken. Snag was a delight. I loved the themes of family, grief, love, and over coming the past. Well written and narrated.
Just started this one up on audio. I am really looking forward to it. It was compared to Snow Child and has the same narrator as A Man Called Ove.
#bookishresolutions I'm taking part in the #Litsyreadingchallenge, #LitsyAtoZ, #50BookPledge and signed the Goodreads challenge to read 85 books. Using books from my own shelf, given for review and from the library. 😊📚🔖 I'm also hoping to read more non-fiction this year - also from my own shelves ! @RealLifeReading @BookishMarginalia
It's a rainy day in Naperville so we're enjoy some tea and ALL THE WINTERS AFTER, which Julie Kibler said "reaffirms what love is and what love does. You'll want to race through it to discover the mysteries, while simultaneously slowing to savor this enchanting tale in hopes it will not end."

Set around a homesteaders cabin in wild Alaska, this story is an exploration of Alaska itself, as well as community, family and love. The novel delves into dealing with, and healing a tragic past in order to move forward, with the stories three main characters' stories woven beautifully together.
Two strangers meet by chance in a remote Alaskan cabin. Each carries deep burdens. Are hope & redemption possible? A harsh landscape, troubled characters. Sounds like it will have emotional depth
