Omg I'm dying Lmfao. And I can't seem to put this book down. I've learned it's always wise to close your blinds, too, and also reaffirmed my feelings on fucking politeness. 😳

Harry Potter + X Men + Miss Peregrin‘s = Every Heart a Doorway. I love all three of the prior mentioned, but... it‘s been done already? It felt a little regurgitated, I suppose. It was a quick read though, and entertaining nonetheless. Perhaps a good pick if you‘re looking for something to come off a book hangover.
I was going to give it a so-so rating, but after the book dredged on and on after the main plot was over, I kinda just had enough. Overall, writing was fine, plot was far-fetched (and not necessarily in an entirely good way), and the main character “freezes in fear” way too much (I guess I like more badass female leads). This wasn‘t one of those books that got my emotions all wrapped up. It was just... meh.
Oh man... Where to begin. So many twists and turns, tugging on emotion after emotion. A beautiful and unlikely friendship and love from continuous tragedy. I don't often re-read books, but this is one I'll definitely dig into again. A lovely and thoughtful read, artistically written.
I read a lot of ebooks. There's something oddly soothing about seeing this brief loading screen on Scribd. 😍
Btw, this book is killing it so far! (Pun intended.) I can hardly put it down! Anybody else read this one?
