I loved Julia Kagawa's Iron Fey series which is why I wanted to read the Talon series.

It's surprisingly slow for a book about dragons - and they're often (mostly) in human form which was a disapointment. The main bulk of this book also focuses on Ember being a teenage girl with friends and a love interest.

Overall a decent read, but doesn't live up to expectations. Hopefully the series picks up 🐉
