This one is easily better than the first in the series. I love the lobstrosities. It still doesn't work as well as most of Stephen King's books, but the series starts improving with this one.

Perfect atmosphere for a classic Xmas story. I've never read this, it's great!
I think Blain the Train is my favorite character in the series so far.
I can't read this without hearing Scrooge's voice as Scrooge McDuck...
I love the original Thrawn novels from the 90s and I love the Rebels tv show. Getting Zahn to write this book was brilliant. I really enjoyed it, specifically following the rise of Thrawn. The story following the governor of Lothal was much less interesting to me, but still good. And there are more Thrawn titles coming!
I loved this. It's targeted at YA, but I related to it a lot. The main plot is not that interesting, the main character's daily life with OCD is the real story here. Very powerful!
I really like Dan Brown's books, I love the way he weaves history into the story. I thought this one was lacking in the history but I really enjoyed the technology tie-in. It really came together at the end and raised my final opinion of the book.
I was hesitant to start this because it was so long and I couldn't imagine how it could stay interesting. It is great! It covers everything about Star Wars in fascinating detail and gives great backstory to George Lucas. It even encouraged me to watch Lucas' older films. It ends when Disney purchases Lucasfilm, so it tells a really great story about Lucas' involvement in the franchise.
This was tough to get through. I love Stephen King, but this feels very disjointed and is missing his usual great characterization. It's hard to follow. The series continues to get much better after this, but if it weren't part of a series I would never recommend reading it.
