An awesome read. It's a bit slow in the beginning but as it picks up it becomes impossible to put down.
It takes place in 1945 a kid is taken by his father to a place called the cemetery of forgotten books and is told to take care of one he pick the shadow of the wind (same name as the novel) written by Julian Carax and as he tries to find out what happened to him certain things start to unfold.
P.S. The name of the book is the shadow of the wind.
When you get a restock of one of your favorite books. When asked to describe it all I need to say is imagine the humor of Die Hard the action of John Wick and the magic of Harry Potter.
My co-workers have been raving about this book for a while, haven't read it yet but have to say it's a gorgeous book.
Sometimes all you need is some good sci-fi and a nice candle.
p.s. Strangely enough I was gifted the book by my mother and I read it without noticing that it's a sequel. If the first book is even half as good as this one I'd recommend it in half a heartbeat.
Here's @Rex with the first book he recommended to me even before I was a Bookmark vendor. An awesome read if you like Game of Thrones and the Hunger Games. If you haven't picked it up, you should. You won't regret it.
Got recommended this series by @Rex and have to say that it's truly one of the funnest series I've read. The main character is so quick with some wit or a gun that you really don't know what route he'll take with each encounter. Definitely a must read for fans of action movies/books.
Only read American Gods so far and I've been blown away by it. A great book, definitely not what I expected going in but not regretting it for a micro-second.
