It Ends With Us | Colleen Hoover

Pickpick

The book “It Ends With Us” by Collen Hoover has a roller coster story. I was completely shocked at the end but I still enjoyed the book very much. The story dives deeper into Lily Bloom‘s marriage with Ryle Kincaid. Despite his attempts to change, Ryle's violent tendencies resurface, creating a dangerous environment for Lily. When her first love, Atlas Corrigan, returns this created complications in her feelings further as he represents safety.

sophia.aduviso Lily battles if she should still stay with Ryle, who she loves but who is abusive, and breaking free to protect herself. The setting remains primarily in Boston, including Lily‘s floral shop and Ryle‘s apartment. Themes of domestic abuse, resilience, and self-empowerment are central as Lily ultimately decides to leave Ryle to ensure her and her child's safety. 1w
sophia.aduviso If you like to read about love and romance like this book , i would recommend Ugly Love” by Colleen Hoover. This novel also explores the theme of love and how love can be painful in a way. 1w
sophia.aduviso The main theme of the novel “It Ends With Us” by Colleen hoover depicts the cyle of domestic abuse, by how being inlove makes you blind and this causes difficulties to break free from it. Ryle's violent behavior makes Lily feel unsafe, even though she loves him. Her struggle to decide whether to stay or leave highlights how complicated abusive relationships can be. 1w
sophia.aduviso As Lily‘s character develops, she learns to put her safety and her unborn child, Emerson‘s safety first. Atlas, Lily's first love, also plays a big role in this theme. He shows Lily what a healthy relationship looks like, helping her realize that she deserves better than Ryle's abuse. By the end of the novel, Lily decides to leave Ryle, showing her strength and determination to end the cycle of abuse for good.

It Ends With Us | Colleen Hoover

Pickpick

I have been diving into the book “It Ends with Us” by Colleen Hoover, and I must say that this novel is very compelling to me so far. The story follows Lily Bloom, who has overcome a lot of struggles in her life and is now starting her own flower shop in Boston. Lily met Ryle Kincaid, a neurosurgeon with a non-relationship policy. They eventually fell inlove with each other.

sophia.aduviso Lily‘s relationship with Ryle is intense and passionate, but also brings up complicated emotions from her past traumas in her childhood. Things have made it more complicated for Lily when Atlas Corrigar, reappears in her life. His return brings back old memories and unresolved feelings for Lily. The story unfolds the theme of Love, resilience, forgiveness and complicated relationships that keeps readers like me, on the edge of their seat. 1mo
sophia.aduviso This book continues to bring me curiosity and excitement to keep reading and find out more. This novel im reading is written in the first-person of view. In the book, Lily tells the story using “I,” “me” and “my”, sharing her personal thoughts, feelings and experiences directly only with the reader. Lily explains her feelings by saying things like “I felt” or “My heart raced.” 1mo
sophia.aduviso When I read the book, it felt like i‘m reading Lily Bloom‘s diary and like she‘s talking directly to me, what the first-person point of view is suppose to feel like. The novel “The Chrysalids” and “It Ends with Us” have the same similarities because they both explores the theme of struggles and resilience 1mo
