Beautifully written, imaginative, sometimes sad, frequently sad actually. Started slow and then started huttling at speed. Sometimes the images felt too vivid. I finished reading the book then i felt dissatisfied with the whole story. Sigh. I cant deny the art of it, it just left me feeling a little adrift
Great book. If it was any other author i would habe been okay. But this fell below my expectations for Khaled Hosseini. Still i could feel all the hard work that went into writing the book.
Loved john Grisham in this. Much better than some of his books that I've read in recent times. Worth it
I read this book with so much delight. Simple, vivid, amazing, well written. Loved everything about it. There were gaps but i dont care. The book just works.
