What a roller coaster of emotions! This book was so good and depicted apartheid amazingly! His perspective of the world is not only good but very comical! I cried, laughed, got frustrated, and felt all of the emotions that Trevor did, this books is so amazing and I recommend it to everyone!

CogsOfEncouragement I LOVED this audiobook! 3y

This book was amazing! It was also very tragic but did come with its happy ending! Falling in love with the characters then watching their lives fall apart was a roller coaster of emotions I‘ll tell you that much! I recommend reading this before Talons of Power in the series.

I have already found a deep love for Peril and I could always understand her because she‘s such an easy character to dislike, but to me she‘s just misunderstood! One of the deepest books out of the series that I‘ve read so far!

The pacing in the beginning was perfect! But after that it was downhill from there with question upon question. Don‘t get me wrong, it definitely made me like Snow more but I just don‘t think we needed this book in the series!

I had a huge dislike for Glory until I read her book and realized how strong she was, now she is definitely my favorite character! I also like how her and tsunami started to for a sister like bond!

passionliv22 Definitely my fav book of the series so far! (edited) 4y

This book is great for inclusivity! I loved that there were multiple and relatable backgrounds for young children to read! It is also so magical and I took so much away from it!
