This book truly brought to life the horrors of what these women went through and how they endured and didn't let the men cast the aside. It was definitely a tough read and at times I had to set it down and take a moment but truly worth it.
I liked that more depth was added to Daphne. I hated that she was perceived as THAT gullible and naive being a grown woman of almost 40. And although it was satisfying to see Amber get her just desserts, it's hard to cheer on domestic violence and women throwing each other under the bus like that. Overall it was a little slow in the beginning but I enjoyed the twists at the end.
