A light-hearted and warm story written in the form of letters. Compelling characters and dynamic writing left me eager to keep reading.

“Between always and never” A true statement on the search for love, and a perfect description of the longing for intimacy in “Call Me By Your Name”
I have never read a book more thoughtful, intimate, and elegant. The stories of family are intricately tied together and crafted in such a powerful and diligent manner. Gyasi hits some significant historical moments and provoked important conversations of freedom and the definition of home all while weaving those historical moments into the characters‘ lives. I cannot get over how much I enjoyed this book!! A simply stunning piece of literature!
“weakness is treating someone as though they belong to you. Strength is knowing that everyone belongs to themselves”
“Hell was a place of remembering, each beautiful moment passed through the minds eye until it fell to the ground like a rotten mango, perfectly useless, useless perfect.”
An excellent and compelling story of guilt, loss, love, and forgiveness. It resonates with anyone who has stumbled and had to find their way through difficult emotions while moving forward in life. A great vacation read! "What is behind you is gone, what is in front of you awaits"
