Finally getting back to this after having to abandon earlier this year - couldn't be enjoying it more although slightly astonished that it appears to have been turned Into a steamy looking film starring Gwyneth Paltrow. I await this element of the book with interest ha ha.
Why is reading about writers so irresistible? A little dated but still a really good read - would love to see an updated version.

Started reading The Good Guy by Susan Beale this week and it's great - lots to discuss about marriage and female empowerment (or not...) so a perfect book club read too.
Out today (UK)! A brilliant and sincere tribute to crime maven and Virago Modern Classic author Patricia Highsmith. The attention to detail is seriously impressive.
