Suspenseful, mysterious, and a complete page-turner. I could not put this book down. It had me on the edge of my seat, turning page after page to find out what happens next. The ending? I was not prepared!

This was tough, but such a good read. Jasmyn does a fantastic job of capturing the stories and hardships of those forced into slavery, while also sharing the beauty of comfort amongst the pain.
