A little vacation reading. An engaging (so far anyway--it's long!) reflection on life and work.

A fun read. I give it extra points for being a straight, linear narrative told from a single point of view. I have nothing against the multi-narrator, time-hopping novels that seem to be everywhere--that works a lot of the time. But it was refreshing to read a good story that doesn't do that.

MyNamesParadise I had never read any of her books before and was really impressed with this one! I'm excited for when she releases another standalone! Kept me reading non-stop! 8y

Part of my haul from Independent Bookstore Day. Loved it. Spare and lovely.
