An absolutely stunning account of child loss. Elle has been so honest with her thoughts and feelings and the love she has for her son shines through every page. A wonderful book for those going through something similar, those wanting to be there for a friend, or those simply wanting to know more about child loss.

Mehso-so

An extremely moving account of the authors experience at Auschwitz and living her life after the war. I would have preferred the story line to follow the author and her experiences and feelings rather than drawing on stories of her patients as well, despite the fact that she was able to grow as a person herself from helping them deal with their own trauma. I feel like this should be 2 different books rather than one, where she can expand each part

Anybody Out There? | Marian Keyes
Mehso-so

I‘m a firm believer in giving books a chance. Once I‘ve committed to reading even the first page I‘m in it for the long haul - I just have to finish! Unfortunately, for the first 300 odd pages of this book I was bored, bored and confused. The Irish-isms are not always easy to interpret, and the way the story unravelled was confusing. About half way through it finally started to make sense. The second half of the book makes it all worth while.

The Gift | Cecelia Ahern
Pickpick

Fab little book. Nothing too meaty but a sweet little read where you don‘t have to do much thinking. Lovely twists that I couldn‘t predict (and I‘m normally pretty good at working out the plot of books). Not sure why but I‘ve always thought I didn‘t like Cecilia Ahern, but will definitely give another of her books a whirl.
