Oops I reread it again. My third time reading this one and I still finished it in a day. It's just so devourable...

This book was interesting. I kinda feel like I need to give it two separate reviews. If I were reviewing it based on how it was marketed, I'd say I was disappointed. I think they tried to sell this novel as a quirky scavenger hunt which I don't think it ended up being. But if I'm reviewing the book as it is, I think it was pretty good, (if I can ignore the last 2 pages of the story). An interesting take on a family mathematical dynasty with drama.

Well with just a week left before #ACOFAS releases, I'm starting a reread of #ACOTAR over breakfast (plain yogurt with raspberry preserves and coffee). Wish me quick rereading!

The Oracle Year: A Novel | Charles Soule

Pickpick

I surprised myself with this pick for #botm but I ended up really liking it! It's very action packed, written similar to a movie. I think if it sells well, it might get a movie deal honestly bc it's already written in that style. It was a cool way to tell a story and I thought the characters were well developed and that made the plot that much more compelling. I definitely recommend it!

I am always weary of male writers but this dude actually seems to be more sensitive than others to outside perspectives!

Read this beauty today. I really liked the setting and the main characters, but I was a bit disappointed in the conflict resolution tbh. The main problem between the two main characters did not come close to getting fixed imo. But, it was a fun read, and the MC was sassy, so cool cool.

Finished Obsidio late last night. What an awesome, awesome series. I can't wait to read what the Kaufman/Kristoff duo put out next!

Well it kept me up till 1, but I finished it! Again! This was a reread for me in preparation for reading the series finale which just dropped. Can't wait to see what they do now. This series is flawless.

God above, this book is like a dream. Or maybe a nightmare. It's like nothing I've ever read before. I can't believe a book like this even exists. 100% worth the reread. 😍

Stayed up late rereading this last night and that page kept me awake just like it did on my first read through...

I decided to do a reread from the start before diving into Obsidio, so I'm currently starting Illuminae again. Anyone else worried about remembering all the characters and moving pieces for the finale?

The first 3 comics in this book are DELIGHTFUL. Like they end so wonderfully and the story is fun, witty, and interesting. The art work is A+. And then they tacked on 2 random dude comics at the end (bc they scrapped the Mockingbird series at #8) that I legit cannot force myself to finish. Such breasts and shitty storytelling.

Anyways the actual Mockingbird comics are totally worth your time!

Ugh the last comic in this book is made by like 90% dudes and it's TERRIBLE. All breasts and way too many characters. How dare they take this amazing feminist book and then end it with an unrelated dude comic?
