Just finished The Andromeda Strain and I loved it! I am also not ashamed to say that some parts of the book were too technical for me to understand. Especially, the medical tests and their results, don‘t be afraid to have google open while you are reading. If you have an interest in Biology, Virology, Pathology, Chemistry, Medicine, Engineering...basically everything hard-science you‘ll love this book. Finished this up in about a day.
Just finished Sphere. I loved the book! It brings a combination of sci-fi and psychological-horror. If you like books involving deep ocean exploration (and what lies below), science, psychology, philosophy, and horror I definitely suggest giving this one a read. One of Michael Crichton‘s best in my opinion.
I finished reading JP recently and I loved it! I grew up loving the movie but, I have to say I preferred the book. The book gives way more insight into the characters, as far as their backgrounds and motivations. Also, the book was much more violent.
Comparing the book to the movie, there were substantial changes made during the transition but, I won‘t get into them. One of my new favorite books. I blew through it in 2.5 days, a must read!
