Just started this now 🙏🏼 it sounds interesting. Intro is a little clunky so far, but maybe it‘ll pick up. It‘s hit or miss with Kindle Unlimited 😂
so-soThe plot is just wildly unbelievable and implausible. Reality and fantasy are too intertwined. It missed the mark. Loose ends left loose, questions unanswered. How does toot=1001? Where did John come from? A doctor supervising her continued cocaine addiction? The victims referred awkwardly and uncomfortably at least 2-3. The only truly likable characters were the minor ones. I‘ll read something else by him, though and give him another shot.
Downloaded this book for free with my Kindle Unlimited subscription. I‘ve never read his work before, but I‘m already digging the writing style. I wish he‘d made the court scenes shorter, but otherwise, I can‘t stop reading. 9/10 recommend and I‘ll be reading the next book in the series!
