I almost can't even put into words how much I detested this book. I hated the tone of the writing, the characters were very un-relatable, and the situations were so unrealistic.
This was another book I had really high hopes for (this is becoming an unfortunate theme) but it ended up letting me down. The characters were a bit too overly dramatic for my taste, and everything moved so fast between them it was unrealistic. I found it okay at best.
I was expecting a lot more from this book than what it gave, considering its ratings on goodreads. It was a fast, fairly shallow read; I didn't really like the characters; and everything happened very suddenly, like night and day. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I hadn't meant to get so caught up in this book, and I'm not quite sure how it happened, honestly. But this book sucked me in from the get-go, and it's one of the few - in a while - I've read that I literally could not put down. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Because I need something to balance out the heaviness of Gone Girl, and this looks like a cute and quick read 😊
This story was a pretty standard romantic suspense. I loved Nicki's spunk (most of the time), but mark got really annoying with his hang ups. However, the ending is what made this a "pick" rather than a "so-so" for me.
I liked this book. It was fairly realistic and an easy read. However, i read this as a fairly mature teenager, and I couldn't really sympathize with Abby. We kept being told that she's a smart girl but her actions don't add up to such. Personally, I just thought the story was okay.
This is easily one of my favorite series (through the first 9 or so books). I loved the spunk and strength of the characters and how well the Casts built this world. Marked was a great entry into the House of Night.
This is a bittersweet book for me. It was my first ever "adult" book, and the first time I read it I loved it. But then, years later, after reading much better romances with better leads, I realized how crappy of a person Christian was and how weak Anastasia was. Barely gave it 2 stars.
This is easily one of my favorite books. It had a lot of mystery and a more than decent plot (especially for a young adult book) with a twist that I honestly didn't see coming.
I had high hopes for this story, but they weren't realized. It felt more like a love story between the protagonist and her piano than the book's actual love interest. I feel that if the details used to describe Bea's feelings at the piano were put into other parts, it'd have been better.
This book was okay for me. I enjoyed the idea behind it, but the main character got on my nerves a bit with her bashing of her own virginity. That, plus other minor character flaws made the protagonist annoying to me, and I was ready to be done about halfway through.
This is one of the few books I've given five stars to on Goodreads. I fell in love with all the characters, the steamy scenes were more than hot, and it actually had a decent plot. Definitely one of my favorite books.
I had high hopes for this book, because nearly every review I read was positive. However, I struggled to get through a large portion of it. It wasn't necessarily bad, but I will admit I found it boring.

I was expecting a lot more from what is regarded as one of the best paranormal romance novels out there. The writing itself was decent, but I felt Ward spent time explaining minor things, when the major action points should've been detailed. Not sure yet when I'll get to the second one.
Femme fatale who's also a vampire. Definitely an enjoyable series
Warning: this book deals with very taboo subject matter.
This book destroyed me. Out of all the books I've read this one still sticks out like a sore thumb in my mind. The main characters stole my heart, then crushed it with their story. Be prepared to cry.
I fell in love with this book. I started out reading it as a favor to my cousin, because it's his favorite book. But once I got started I couldn't put it down. It's a sweet little coming of age story, and I easily fell in love with Aristotle and Dante. I can't wait for the sequel!
I loved this book. The characters were wonderfully crafted and the way their relationship unfolded was enchanting. This is one of the few books I've read twice, and I enjoyed it immensely both times.
