So fucking right
So fucking right
Though you meet thousands of persons in your life there will be very few who you remember, and the girl in the book is one of those. Devestatingly beautiful. Heart wreckingly wonderful. Though there are few childlish lines like, 'brown, really really brown' etc, overall, it was an amazing read. You would want to go there to the house and tell the people to take shelter in the bunkers, you would want to warn them of the danger. You would laugh, cry
It was a complete let down. I had expected so much from this as it was touted as one of the best books of modern indian literature. It was waste of energy and time. Yes, writing style was good, but the plot was weak and struggling to come out of the pit. I didnt even understand why there was even the character called Iqbal. The plight and struggle of the people who underwent those wretched times, but he chose to make a hero out of it.
Thought it would turn out to be one of the greatest thrillers I have read, unfortunately, I was let down half of through. Mind it, it was not bad by any means, but it could have been lot better. Idea was great, fluidity was good.
