Don't know if it's just because I'm in a good mood, but felt like another one of the high points in the series. Gratifying variety of world building, character development, arc, (fan service) compared to some of the "half" books that set the stage for the next adventure rather than being their own.
Relaxing in Tatopani after trekking Thorong La Pass, just finished Deepness in the Sky and back to the Tines world.
Been on the reading list for a long time, really glad I'm finally getting the chance to read it. So far some solid world building and interesting ideas, with great pacing and twists. Loving the intergalactic Twitter with "1000 posts an hour!". Already got the sequel and finale lined up.
A little outside my comfort zone, quite heavy and dense reading, was never sure if I was enjoying or purging the trilogy. Rewarding and satisfying all the same
