Research done in the name of book blogging. This week's post is called PBR for My TBR where I try to pair booze with a book that I'm reading soon. Check it out at www.litlovinglush.wordpress.com. Let me know what you recommend drinking while reading Akata Witch.

Hey Littens! Meet my student : Evan. Last year he discovered reading in a big way. This year he proudly carried this massive Scholastic order six blocks from his school to our Out of School Care without complaint. Just wanted to share a little something (with his parents' permission) about this future Litsy member who recently fell in love with reading.

Just finished this for book club and I was stunned by it. The narration was beautiful and unique. The shmultz was a little heavy in the final few chapters but not throughout which is impressive for a dog novel.

This book was informative, empathy enducing, and illicited unanswerable questions through the characters and the reader that are super valuable, while not being overly preachy.

This is the look on my face when my fave book podcast answers my recommendation question. Thanks @jennirl and Amanda Nelson for making my commute exciting. (P.S. She recommended Sabriel to me last weekend.) #bookriot #getbooked

Hey Kittens! I'm leaving for the UK on Thursday and I know I'm going to be hitting up a ton of used and new bookstores while I'm there. What should I pick up? I'm looking for books with cool/alternative UK covers and/or from British publisher's that are hard to get in North America.

This book is getting pretty dark and twisted. The narrator's voice is so cynical and broody and yet I'm not getting the Wuthering Heights I must put this down immediately feeling.

This was my pick for Book Riot's Read Harder challenge of reading a book written by a south east Asian author. Overall it was a creepy and engaging book that taught me about a culture that I had little to no knowledge of before. The plot moved quickly and the characters all progressed believably. A pleasant surprise. #readharder2016 #bookriot #scaretober

My Life | Bill Clinton

Fun conversation that came up tonight. What do you want Bill Clinton's title to be if Hilary gets elected? First Gentleman? Something gender neutral like First Consort?

Had to pick this up while I was ordering my copy of All the Single Ladies by Rebecca Traister.

danibourgon @thereadingwomen I can't recommend this author enough. Also, thanks for recommending Rebecca Traister so much that I had to order a copy. 8y

This was one of the first books that I read in High School that I felt I understood better than my peers. It's my superiority complex book.

Mehso-so

Scarier than my usual fare since it's my horror pick for Book Riot's read harder challenge. But the writing was great I just didn't like the content if that makes sense.
