As an American Chef in a Royal British household, Carrie Ann Cole faces bias every day, especially from the other chefs at the palace. Secrets, jealous lover‘s, and scandals all play a part in the mix of ingredients that make this cozy mystery one to indulge in. There‘s a plethora of juicy suspects and gossip to delight and entertain, plus a romance begins for Carrie. The author does a great job of concealing the murdering foe until the reveal.

Fans of Duffy Brown‘s Consignment Shop Mysteries have waited a long time for “Lethal in Old Lace,” and I‘m thrilled to say this story is worth the wait! Easily the most comedic cozy series I know of. I had a suspicion about the culprits; however, the final reveal was certainly surprising. I love that Walker Boone and Reagan are rapidly moving forward with their relationship. ❤️I highly recommend this book and the entire series!

Survival of the Fritters | Ginger Bolton

Great debut! The story pacing is fast; the Wisconsin location is charming; there are red herrings galore; dry humor; and I didn‘t realize the identity of the culprit until the protagonist put two and two together herself.

Liv McKay‘s family and friends fly to Las Vegas, Nevada to see Liv‘s mama, Virginia, and her hunka burning love, Earl get hitched. This fast moving plot is a winner for this reader, and all the Dixie, Tennessee gang is on hand to enjoy the fun and frivolity of Vegas. As expected, plenty of mishaps tickled my funny bone..This is the fifth book in the series, and I can‘t help falling in love with each story.

4 Stars! I don‘t want to let the cat out of the bag by giving any details on the murder, but will happily report that several felines find their furrever homes in this light and entertaining cozy mystery. The author provides plenty of suspects for you to dish about their suspicious behaviors and activities, and the finale is a whopper of a reveal!

The book is a page-turner, and thrilling to lose yourself in, and I highly recommend this Debut to Cozy Mystery fans! The author includes delicious sounding recipes at the end.

5 Stars! This debut story in the Wine Trail Mysteries will have readers putting their thinking caps on if they want to solve the mystery before the author reveal. I had one person tapped as suspicious, but couldn‘t figure out motive. Plenty of chuckles throughout the story, and a great supporting cast of characters for Norrie. Add a cute dwarf goat and a smart dog and this cozy is great entertainment.
