A recommendation for this coming Black History Month (which should be every month). The book follows the story of various descendants of a single Asante woman and highlights landmark periods in both Ghanaian and African-American history.

I loved this book because it highlighted the unique challenges of navigating mental illness and a queer/ace Identity.
