I adored this book, I found myself reading slowly just to get lost in the lives of Ove and those around him. The beautiful story telling makes you understand that life and death aren't the markers that define our existence, but rather how births and deaths of those you love shape how you adapt to a life you can love without them.It shows that grief can be hidden in the toughest exterior but love and friendship can unthaw the coldest of ice armor.

To me a soul mate is the one who awakens your intermost being just by being there. We may love people in our lives but loving a soul mate means we cease to exist when they aren't present.

A book about death that teaches us how to live life. A must read!
